Wow, what a year y’all! I can’t believe it’s already here. Tempus fugit et cetera. If you’re a long-time reader of mine, and it’s never too late to start anything in life {experto crede}, then you’ll know that, in addition to writing complicated sentences full of Latin {and brackets}, today is my one-year Transiversary. Now, if you’ve met one trans person, well that’s it, you’ve met one. We typically don’t encourage broad generalizations about us {she typed, making a broad generalization}.

For me, November 10th of 2021, my Transiversary, is the day I first accepted that I am a transgender person. It’s not the day I came out, as there are many; see above. And it’s not the day I started HRT (hormone replacement therapy) or switched to injections despite both being meaningful; see below. Today is meaningful because I started to love myself, for the first time in my life, one year ago. So let’s review, shall we?!
